It’s Christmas on Evergreen Lane, and everything is predictably perfect, thanks to Jared not a snowflake out of place. But this year he’s in for a big surprise. Emily is pregnant! Life just got a whole lot crazier. A baby suite has to be built, his clients are needier than ever, the Christmas Carnival demands his attention, his presidency is being challenged, he’s pulled in a zillion directions, and he’s knocked for a loop when he discovers he’s been accepted into the Norwegian Santa Academy program.

In the meantime, Emily is under the gun to finish her children's book and decorate her house for the holidays. Not to mention heading up the welcome committee to greet a new neighbor, Charlotte. So much to do all before the baby comes.

While Jared is incommunicado in Norway, Emily believes she’s in labor, and rallies the troops: Ned, Pamela, Jess, and Mary Louise. Their trip to the emergency room is more like a NASCAR race, with Mary Louise showing off her newly acquired kart-racing skills… all for a case of heartburn.

A blizzard strands Jared in Norway. Evergreen Lane is experiencing a snowstorm as well. Emily’s home alone and snowbound too when her water breaks. With no way to the hospital, it’s nurse Charlotte to the rescue… but it’s Santa who delivers the baby.
