It Didn't Go As Planned

The Winstons return home to discover they've been robbed, wiped out, but worse, the brown paper bag stuffed with cash is gone. Quickly, bills mount, and the mortgage is past due. Blake and Lainey fear they'll lose everything.
Their friend and detective, Mike, investigates but offers no hope of recovering the money. On an evening out, Mike entertains Lainey and Blake with a story about the infamous Jim Baxter, aka "Handsome Jim,” a notorious hitman and one of the F.B.I.'s most wanted with a $100,000 reward.
Intrigued, Lainey and Blake check the F.B.I.’s website and believe they’ve seen “Handsome Jim” with his wife, Juliette, recently in Lainey's boutique. Blake's determined to capture this fugitive if he ever gets the chance. Opportunity knocks, and in a surge of false bravado, Blake attempts to take him down, but a revolver jabbing in his ribs snaps him back to reality.
At lunch with a client, Blake sees a woman choking; it's Juliette. He leaps into action and saves her life. The next day at Blake's gallery, an eternally grateful Jim appears and proposes a plan to help him and Lainey out of their money troubles. The scheme involves a phony museum heist, a gang of mobsters, and a double-cross for a big payoff. But first, Blake has to forge a Renoir and don a disguise as a French artist while Lainey impersonates the museum's curator.
The plan is in play until they find Jim dead, but there's no turning back. Alone and terrified, they face the ultimate test of courage and meet the mobsters at a recycling plant. Suddenly, helicopters hover, SWAT teams move in, bullets fly. Realizing the betrayal, the gangsters take Lainey at gunpoint and throw Blake into a metal shredder. In the nick of time, Mike saves them both.
Thanks to the reward money, Blake and Lainey celebrate the opening of her new store with a lavish gala. In the crowd of guests, Blake discovers Jim and Juliette alive and well. Proof that with a leap of faith and a little luck, anything is possible.
